SIBERUT - MENTAWAI TRIBAL EXPEDITION.
6 Days/5 Nights

DAY 1 : PADANG - MUARA SIBERUT
Arrive in Padang, directly boarding to the Ferry for Muara Siberut at about 19.00 Hrs. Overnight in the Ferry.

DAY 2 : MUARA SIBERUT - ROROGOT - SAKALEO
Arrive at early morning in Muara Siberut. After getting permit from the Local Governor Authority, take  traditional motor canoe to reach the village of Rorogot passing through swampy Mangroe Trees and Sago Palm. Thence take a walk and hike about 3,5 hrs to reach the village of Sakaleo.
Overnight at the local house of Sakaleo Tribes.

DAY 3 : SAKALEO - BUTUI
Today we explore the daily life of and activities of Siberut native inhabitants such as Animals and Birds hunting,Fishing and traditionally making Sago Powder as a main food of the local tribes.
Having Lunch with the local people, thence continue the trip by walk about 3,5 hours to Butui Village.
Overnight at the local house of Butui Tribes.

DAY 4 : BUTUI - SAKALEO
After Breakfast explore the the daily activity and the nature of Butui tribes who still keep their old tradition and believes. After having Lunch walk to Sakalelo where during the night there will be a special Traditional Ceremonial Magic Dance will be held to host the guest.
Overnight at Local House of Sakaleo tribes.

DAY 5. SAKALEO - KULUKUBUK - ROROGOT - MUARA SIBERUT
After Breakfast trekking to Kulukubuk Waterfall passing through the magnificent view of Rainforest,and upon arrival at Kulukubuk Waterfall enjoy swimming at a blue clearwater, thence we continue the trip by walk to reach Rorogot where we catch the traditional motor canoe to Muara Siberut.
Evening leave Muara Siberut to Padang by Ferry and overnight on Board of the Ferry.

DAY 6. MUARA SIBERUT PADANG.
Arrive in the Morning at Padang, meeting and transfer to the Hotel or to Airport to catch the flight for next destination.

SPECIAL CONDITION FOR SIBERUT & MENTAWAI ISLAND.

1. Participant strickly should bring.:
1. swimming wear
2. rain coat
3. long cotton trousers
4. sun and body cream
5. sleeping bag
6. sport shoes or trecking shoes
7. hat
8. snorkeling gear ( if required).
2. Accomodation & Meals.
1. Hotel in Padang is not included meals.
2. During the trip participant will stay & overnight at Family`s house.
3. Meals as specific in the programme and fullboard.
4. Entrance fee and entrance fee at places visited.
3. English speaking Guide ,Local Rangers and Porter provided.
4. Transportation.

NOTE.:

1. Very occasionally the trip may be cancelled due to bad weather or natural disaster, therefore the local tour operator have the right to change the programme without further notice, and any additional expenses such as`meals, accommodation,transportation etc will be charge to the client`s.
2. Accomodation are very simple - a rural house with rough wooden floors. Client`s may bring personally their  camping mattres of sleeping bag with.
3. In rural area there are very limited clean toilets or sometimes even no toilets or bathroom facilities, and the river is the only solution to be used instead.
4. There are no restaurants and the only local and simple coffe house available at

Muara Siberut village. All meals in the rural areas are cooked and served by our guide and his crew.
