DAY 01 : JAYAPURA arrival - WAMENA - SUROBA (L,D)
Morning arrivals at Jayapura, meeting service then catch flight
at 09.00 to Wamena. Arrive at Wamena, driving 20 minutes to Aikima
village in the North of Baliem for a easy trekking in 1,5 hour to
Suroba village. Arrive at Suroba village explorer the Dani villages
and cultures. Dinner and overnight at local guest house of Suroba.
DAY 02 : SUROBA - DOGUM - JIWIKA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, an hour walk to Dogum village thru Dani sweet potatoes
garden, you may see and meet local people who working at gardens.
After take a break at Dogum village, another 3-4 hour on safari
trek to Jiwika village. Lunch will be served by your cook. Arrive
at Jiwika explorer and surrounding. Dinner and overnight at local
house of Jiwika.
DAY 03 : JIWIKA (traditional dance) - WAMENA (B,L,D)
Morning after breakfast, climb up the salt pool to see the local
people how to make salt traditionally and bring it home. From the
salt pool walk down to the village to see the 250 years old Mummy.
Lunch serve at local house. After lunch, walk to Anemoigi village
to see and enjoy the traditional dance of Dani tribe. Afternoon
drive back to Wamena town for your dinner and overnight.
DAY 04 : WAMENA - JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
After breakfast at hotel, then transfer to airport for your flight
back to Jayapura. Upon arrival at Sentani airport of Jayapura, direct
visit of the WW II memorial, Sentani lake by boat to see the local
tribe life in the village. Lunch at Yougwa restaurant in the side
of the lake, afternoon continue touring and visit the Museum of
anthropology, market and Jayapura city. Late the afternoon return
to hotel for overnight stay and dinner.
DAY 05 : JAYAPURA - DEPARTURE (B)
After having breakfast at hotel, free at leisure until the time
proceed to the airport for your next destinations.

DAY 01 : JAYAPURA ARRIVAL (D)
Arrive at Sentani airport of Jayapura, meeting service and clearance
luggage then short transfer to hotel for your dinner and overnight
stay. The rest of the day will be your own program.
DAY 02 : JAYAPURA - WAMENA - SOGOKMO - KURIMA - KILISE
(B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your 45 minutes flight
to Wamena. Upon arrive at Wamena, direct transfer to Sogokmo for
about 40 minutes with accompanied also by your cook and local porters,
the starting point of the trekking. Heading to Kurima, sub District
of the tribe on level terrain then continue climbing the Hesegem
hill on the direction of Kilise, the destination village. Along
the trails, you will meet local people in their activities and yet
the scenery is very beautiful around. Lunch served en route. Afternoon
you may explore the traditional villages and learn about the people
way of life. Dinner and stay at local guest house of Kilise. (Walk
approx. 4 hours).
DAY 03 : KILISE - IBIROMA - WANEM (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you are proceed to descend the steep hill up to
Wanem village via Ibiroma. You will see and meet with local people
who working at their sweet potatoes gardens. From hills of Wanem,
you may enjoy the spectacular view of Baliem George. Arrive at Wanem
village join with local people and lean about their community life.
Dinner and overnight at local house of Dani tribe.
DAY 04 : WANEM - POLIMO - SOGOKMO - WAMENA - JIWIKA
(B,L,D)
Today we trek back to Sogokmo thru Polimo village. Lunch will serve
enroute. Arrive at Sogokmo, driving for about 1,5 hours to Jiwika
in the north of Baliem Valley with passing Wamena town. Arrive at
Jiwika in the afternoon and have time to see the Dani life &
community. Dinner and overnight at local house of Jiwika.
DAY 05 : JIWIKA - (Pig feast & dance) - WAMENA
(B,L,D)
Breakfast at your local house, then walk to the village to explorer
and surrounding including the 250 years old Mummy. Or climb the
Mili mountain to see how the local people process the salt. At noon,
enjoy a local performance such as mocked war and traditional Earth
oven cooking. Today you can be interacted with the local Dani people
and learn about their way of life. Late afternoon back to hotel
for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 06 : WAMENA - JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight back to Jayapura.
Arrival at airport of Jayapura You may have a full day sightseeing
tour including Mac Arthur 2nd World War monument, Sentani lake by
boat. Lunch have at yougwa restaurant near the lake. After lunch,
see the Anthropology museum (open from Monday to Saturday at 09.00-14.00),
then Hamadi market & Jayapura city. Afternoon back to hotel
for overnight and dinner.
DAY 07 : JAYAPURA - DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel and proceed to airport for Depart to the next

DAY 02 : JAYAPURA - SOGOKMO - KURIMA - KILISE (B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Wamena.
Upon arrive at Baliem valley airport, then drive 40 minutes to Sogokmo,
the starting point of the trekking with your guide, cook and local
porters. Trek will be 4 hours thru Kurima District and passing some
Dani sweet potatoes gardens. Afternoon arrive at village and you
may walk around, while your cook preparation for dinner. Overnight
stay at local guest house of Kilise.
DAY 03 : KILISE - IBIROMA - SYOKOSIMO (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you are proceed to descend the steep hill down
to traditional hanging bridge across Baliem river. Today's walk
is a little harder with narrow and slippery paths. But you may also
enjoying the nature's beauty by stopping in the small waterfall
to get refreshing while the cook serving lunch. After this part,
the path gets smaller and tricky until you find another river with
no bridge to cross. Our trek about 4-5 hours to Syokosimo village.
DAY 04 : SYOKOSIMO - HITUGI (B,L,D)
The trekking today is the shortest one. After breakfast you are
proceed to continue the trek up to a village called Hitugi. Climbing
up the hill all the way to the village is something different, but
the scenery is incredibly beautiful combined with small villages
and local people working in the field. You arrive to the village
by noon where the cook is ready to serve lunch. Dinner and overnight
stay at Hitugi village. (Walk approx. 3 hours)
DAY 05 : HITUGI - KURIMA - SOGOKMO - WAMENA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, leaving Hitugi back to Sogokmo. The walk today
is the longest one, but the terrain is not very difficult as trails
wider and the panorama is so evicting. Passing Kurima village before
ending up in Sogokmo where the car ready to take you back to Wamena.
Lunch served en route. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 06 : WAMENA - JIWIKA (Pig feast & dance) -
WAMENA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, drive 30 minutes to Jiwika in the North of Baliem
valley to see the 250 years old Mummy. Then walk 10 minutes to village
of Anemoigi where you can view the Dani Mock battle and Pig feast.
You will see how the Dani make fire traditionally, kill a pig with
bow and arrow and cook them into the hot-burned stone with vegetables
and sweet potatoes. Lunch box will be provided. After lunch, climb
the salt pool where salt pool exist on top of Mili mountain or visit
the cave of Wosilimo. Afternoon return to hotel.
DAY 07 : WAMENA - JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight back to Jayapura.
Arrival at airport of Jayapura You may have a full day sightseeing
tour including Mac Arthur 2nd World War monument, Sentani lake by
boat. Lunch have at yougwa restaurant near the lake. After lunch,
see the Anthropology museum (open from Monday to Saturday at 09.00-14.00),

to Wamena. Arrive at Wamena airport, then drive 40 minutes to Sogokmo
with your guide, porters and cook, the starting point of the trekking
to Kurima, sub District of the tribe on level terrain then continue
climbing the Hesegem hill on the direction of Kilise. Along the
trails, you will meet local people in their activities and yet the
scenery is very beautiful around. Lunch served enroute. Afternoon
you may explore the traditional villages and learn about the people
way of life. Dinner and stay at local guest house of Kilise. (Walk
approx. 4 hours).
DAY 03 : KILISE - WUSEREM (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you are proceed to descend the steep hill down
to traditional hanging bridge across Baliem river. Today's walk
is a little harder with narrow and slippery paths. But you may also
enjoying the nature's beauty by stopping in the small river of Mugi
to get refreshing while the cook serving lunch. After this part,
trek thru Dani gardens and some local traditional house till Wuserem
about 5 hours. Dinner and overnight stay at local house.
DAY 04 : WUSEREM - WESAGALEP (BL,D)
The next morning after breakfast continue trekking to Wesagalep
village for about 6 hours. You are proceed to cross a river where
you may have lunch and refresh yourself in the river. The way to
Wesagalep village from the river will pass a small rain forest and
the air will be a little humid. Dinner and overnight at church of
Wesagalep.
DAY 05 : WESAGALEP - TANGMA (B,L,D)
Leaving Wesagalep village in the morning after breakfast descending
a very steep hill all the way down to Baliem river gorge. Spectacular
scenery, gentle local people, and beautiful terraced sweet potato
fields you will see on the way down. Lunch served by the cook near
Baliem river. After crossing the hanging bridge, the uphill trail
leads you to Tangma village. Dinner and overnight at local house
of Tangma. (Walk approx. 6-7 hours)
DAY 06 : TANGMA - KURIMA - SOGOKMO - WAMENA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, continue the last trekking day back to Sogokmo
climb through Hesegem mountain and down to Kurima before arriving
to Sogokmo where the car will take you back to "civilization"
of Wamena. Lunch and dinner in town. Overnight stay at hotel of
Wamena. (Walk approx. 5 hours)
DAY 07 : WAMENA - JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight back to Jayapura.
Arrival at airport of Jayapura You may have a full day sightseeing

DAY 03 : WAMENA - KURIMA - HITUGI (B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel then by car 40 minutes to Sogokmo in the South
of Baliem Valley. From here start your trekking with your guide,
cook and local porters to Hitugi with passing hanging bridge over
Baliem River and Dani sweet potatoes gardens. Enjoy the beautiful
scenery of Baliem George. Lunch serve near small rivers. After 5
hours trekking arrive at Hitugi village where you will have dinner
and overnight stay.
DAY 04 : HITUGI - WUSEREM (B,L,D)
From Hitugi village trek down 2,5 hour for the first section till
Mugi river. Lunch serve near river. After lunch continue trek another
3 hours to Wusrem village thru Dani traditional house and you may
meet local people on the way and have time to discuss with them
Afternoon arrive at Wuserem and explorer surrounding. Dinner and
overnight at church of Wusrem villages.
DAY 05 : WUSEREM - PUKAM (BL,D)
The next morning after breakfast continue trekking to Pukam village.
Today's walk will be very hard with up and down hills. You are proceed
to cross a river where you may have lunch and refresh yourself in
the river. The way to Pukam Village from the river will pass a small
rain forest and the air will be a little humid. Dinner and overnight
in local guest house of Pukam. (Walk approx. 6 - 7 hours)
DAY 06 : PUKAM - WESAGALEP (B.L.D)
After breakfast, leaving Pukam to the next one, Wesagalep. The village
located over the mountain and the walk will be uphill. Shorter than
the day before, passing through another small rain forest and sweet
potato fields. Lunch and dinner will serve by cook. Overnight at
church of Wesagalep village. (Walk approx. 4 hours)
DAY 07 : WESAGALEP - TANGMA (B,L,D)
Today trek will be 6-7 hours from Wesagalep village descending a
very steep hill all the way down to Baliem river gorge. Spectacular
scenery, gentle local people, and beautiful terraced sweet potato
fields you will see on the way down. Lunch serverd by the cook near
Baliem river. After crossing the suspension bridge, the uphill trail
leads you to Tangma, the next village. Dinner and overnight at local

After breakfast, continue the last trekking day back to Sogokmo
climb through Hesegem mountain and down to Kurima before arriving
to Sogokmo where the car will take you back to "civilization"
of Wamena. Lunch and dinner in town. Overnight stay at Sinakma Elok
Cottage or similar of Wamena. (Walk approx. 5,5 hours)
DAY 09: WAMENA - JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
After breakfast at hotel, get flight back to Jayapura. Arrive at
Jayapura, short transfer to hotel then driving 1,5 hour to Depapre
district, here you may do for snorkling and relax in the good beach.
Gril fishes will be served for lunch. Afternoon back to hotel.
DAY 10: JAYAPURA - DEPARTURE (B)

Having breakfast, starting trekking together with your cook and
porters in approximately 5-6 hours passing through Ibiroma village.
On the way to the village you can see the nice views and spectacular
landscape along the river Baliem may over you to take picture. Lunch
will be served near the river. Late afternoon walking to the village
Wamarek for your night stay at teacher house.
DAY 04 : WAMAREK - WESAGALEP (B,L,D)
Today continue trekking altogether about 7-8 hours passing through
suspension bridge then high-up to reach waterfall area where your
cook and porters prepare simple lunch. After lunch continue trekking
up to reach Wesagalep village for your night stay at teacher house.
DAY 05 : WESAGALEP - PUKAM - WEAREMA (B,L,D)
Trekking up-and down through out the trail to the way experienced
with daily activity by the local tribe passing through Pukam where
your lunch provided. Your trekking today will take about 7-8 hours
to get Wearema village for your night stay at guest house.
DAY 06 : WEAREMA - LILIBAL (B,L,D)
After having breakfast, today our trek will be about 6-7 hours surrounded
by the mountainous views and the local daily activity coming familiar
on to Lilibal village for your night stay at Mission guest house.
Lunch provided enroute.
DAY 07 : LILIBAL - SOBA (B,L,D)
Today will take a hard trekking will be approximately 8-9 hours
through hill-up, your lunch served by cook on the way trekking.
Arrive at Soba take accommodation at Priest house.
DAY 08 : SOBA ACTIVITIES (B,L,D)
Late breakfast at village, joining the local people and witnessing
their cultivation and tradition also mountainous panorama from the
top offering picture from you. Lunch and dinner served at village.
DAY 09 : SOBA - MOBENGGAMA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, continue trekking to Mobenggama village where you
will overnight stay at Priest house. Trekking today will take about
6-7 hours, lunch provided near the river.
DAY 10 : MOBENGGAMA - JUNGGLE (B,L,D)
After breakfast, trekking together along the wooden trail to reach
stream where you can take a rest and lunch. Then continue trekking
to reach jungle for your night stay at tend. Trekking today will
take about 7-8 hours).
DAY 11 : JUNGLE - YOGOSIM (B,L,D)
Trekking today will take about 5-6 hours to reach Yogosim village
for your night stay at Simple guest house. Lunch provided on the
way trekking.
DAY 12 : YOGOSIM - HITUGI (B,L,D)
Breakfast at village, continue trekking to Hitugi for about 5-6
hours, lunch will be provided at the river band by your cook and
porters. Dinner and overnight at a local guest house.
DAY 13 : HITUGI -SEINMA - SOGOKMO-WAMENA (B,L,D)
Breakfast at village, then continue trekking down Seinma village
where you may have lunch near the river then onto Sogokmo-Car terminal
to find transportation transfer to Wamena. Arrive Wamena directly
check in at hotel for your accommodation.
DAY 14 : WAMENA - DANI PIG FIEST AND PERFORMANCE (B,L,D)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer by car to Jiwika - North
Baliem to witnessing Pig feast and dance performed by Dani people.
Lunch provided at the village or in Wamena. Late afternoon back
to hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 15: WAMENA - JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
After breakfast at hotel, get flight back to Jayapura. Arrive at
Jayapura, short transfer to Sentani Indah hotel then driving 1,5
hour to Depapre district, here you may do for snorkling/swimming
and relax in the good beach. Gril fishes will be served for lunch.

Early breakfast, then transfer to Missionary airfield and fly by
chartered plane to Kosarek -the home for Yali or Yalemo tribes.
Upon arrival in Kosarek, we walk to the Missionary Guest House where
we will stay overnight. Lunch will be provided by our cook. Afternoon
hike-up for 30 minutes to the village of Wesaltek to explorer the
Yali traditional community life. Our trail is steep and slippery,
but the scenery and the village is beautiful. Back to local house
for dinner and overnight.
DAY 04 : KOSAREK - NOHOMAS - ULDAM (B,L,D)
Today, hike two hours to Nohomas village through steep sweet potato
gardens and beautiful landscapes. Nohomas is the largest village
in Kosarek area. Their traditional houses are built on the ridge
of the mountain to easily recognize the arrival of the enemy during
a raid. People in this village are willing to offer you any of their
traditional tools or weapons to buy. From Nohomas we hike another
1.5 hour up to the village of Uldam. The trail is still steep and
passing through Yali gardens. We will arrive in Uldam village by
noon. The church is built on the ground and the floor where we sleep
& dinner is covered by dried tall grass.
DAY 05 ULDAM - SERKASI (B,L,D)
From Uldam village we hike straight up a steep section of Kosarek
Mountain (approximately 2.5 hours). Once we arrive on the top we
rest and enjoy the spectacular views of this highland mountain and
the surrounding forest. The trail then heads down through a small
forest (2 hours) to the village of Serkasi. We will make a stop
at the river for lunch before we continue to Serkasi. Our trek will
be 4-5 hours. We overnight at local house or church.
DAY 06 : SERKASI - HOMBUGA - KOSAREK (B,L,D)
From Serkasi village we hike down to the river for about 45 minutes.
The trail is steep and through the sweet potato garden. The rest
of our trail today to Hombuga village is going up and down hills
(additional 2 hours). We arrive in Hombuga by noon and explorer
surrounding while your cook preparation for lunch. After lunch continue
to Kosarek. Total walk will be 5 hours.
DAY 07 : KOSAREK - WAMENA - JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we'll make the short charter flight back to Wamena.
Once we arrive at the Wamena Airport, get the regular flight to
Jayapura. Arrive at Jayapura, transfer to your hotel for dinner
and overnight stay.
DAY 08 : JAYAPURA - DEPARTURE (B)
After having breakfast at hotel, free at leisure until the time
proceed to the airport for your next destinations.

After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight to Wamena,
Arrive at Wamena, transfer to your hotel then by car 30 minutes
to visit Dani villages of Suroba & Jiwika. Here you may see
and learn about the Dani community life. Lunch have at Wamena town.
After lunch, visiting Napua hill and traditional market. Stay and
dinner at hotel.
DAY 03 : WAMENA - KOSAREK (B,L,D)
After breakfast ready to fly with Missionary charter plane to Kosarek,
the home of Yali people up in the southeast of Wamena. The flight
takes about 30 minutes and during to land you can see local people
around the landing strip with curious eyes. Kosarek area was opened
by Missionary in 70's but the people still keep the tradition alive.
They practiced cannibalism all at once great farmers and live in
the remote area which is difficult to get contact with other places.
Arrive at Kosarek airstrip, explorer surrounding. Meals and overnight
at local house.
DAY 04 : KOSAREK - SERKASI - PIMOHON (B,L,D)
Early breakfast, then start your trek with terrains will be very
hard, slippery, steep rocky hills, and rivers with no bridge to
get across and also passing the rain forest mountain of Jenggo.
Lunch served in the forest by the stream. The trek will be approx.
8 hours.
DAY 05 : PIMOHON - TELAMBELA (B,L,D)
Late breakfast at local house then continue trek down to Telambela
village. Dinner & overnight in local hut of Telambela village.
(Walk approx. 3 hours).
DAY 06 : TELAMBELA - MEMBAHAM (B,L,D)
The next village is Membaham, located on the other side of the mountain.
The scenery on the entire trekking is amazing. You also can hear
or sometimes watch Birds of Paradise or cockatoos on the way, refresh
your self in unpolluted rivers and have a great adventurous feeling.
Trekking will be about 5 hours.
DAY 07 : MEMBAHAM - HELARIKI (B,L,D)
From Membaham will be a long day about 7-8 hours trek. The next
village to reach is Helariki. Today's hike will be filled with up
and down hills but yet the panorama is very spectacular, with traditional
villages and its people to meet. Lunch served by the cook near one
of the river. Overnight at school of Helariki.
DAY 08 : HELARIKI - ANGGURUK (B,L,D)
After breakfast you are proceed to descend the steep river bank
down to Yahuli river. A wooden bridge to cross on the way to Angguruk.
Lunch served en route. Trek approximately trek 5 hours.
DAY 09 : ANGGURUK - FUNGFUNG - PILIAM/PRONGGOLI (B,L,D)
After hanging breakfast at Angguruk, hike-up to Piliam village thru
Fungfung village and valley of Yali country. Trek will be 6 hours
to Piliam/Pronggoli village where will have dinner and overnight
stay.
DAY 10 : PILIAM/PRONGGOLI (B,L,D)
Late breakfast, then explorer the villages or see and enjoy the
Yali pig feast and dance. Lunch serve with grill pig. Dinner and
overnight at Missionary guest house.
DAY 11 : PRONGGOLI - WAMENA (B,L,D)
Have breakfast in Pronggoli while waiting for the chartered plane
back to Wamena. The plane usually arrives in the morning to avoid
the strong wind which blows strongly from other valley on the other
side of Elit mountain. Arrive at Wamena, transfer to your hotel
for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 12 : WAMENA - JAYAPURA (B,L,D)
After breakfast at hotel, get flight back to Jayapura. Arrive at
Jayapura, short transfer to hotel, then driving 1,5 hour to Depapre
district, here you may do for snorkling/swimming and relax in the
good beach. Gril fishes will be served for lunch. Afternoon back
to hotel.
DAY 13 : JAYAPURA - DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, depart to Sentani Airport for your flight to next
destination.
