 Lombok
is an island of startling contradiction and contrast between the Hindhu
rituals incorporated into Moslem ceremonies ,lush rainforest backing
arid plains, Lombok has been spared to a great extent , the more vulgar
intrusions of western culture . The amazing attraction includes fantastique
white sandy beach at Senggigi and Kuta as well as at Gili`s islands,the
active volcanic Rinjani, Sasak traditional village,summer palace at
Narmada,Sukarara village with its native hand weaving and pottery
industries makes Lombok become an alternative attractive tourist destination
beyond Bali.
