Since ancient times, Java has been known as a lush island paradise with rich volcano soils, watered by the yearly monsoonal rains and baked by the equatorial sun,the world`s most luxuriant tropical rainforest, a tangel of exotic flowers, palm , fruits , ferns , lianas , epiphytes and towering hardwood trees.
The great naturalist A.R. Wallace was so struck by the abundance and dizziying diversity of floral and faunal types on Java that he proclaimed it  as `` the noble and fertile island - the Garden of the East ``.
Culturally Java is also a giant pot pourri, there is repertoire of dance, drama and comedy which draws its inspiration alternatively from the Hindhu epics,from the exploits of Islamic warrior and from the tales of ancient Javanese folks heroes.

Sightseeing - Excursions:

Tunas-JAKARTA/01. JAKARTA CITY TOUR (3 hours) Morning tour which visits the National Monument (and passes in front of Presidential Palace, Istiqlal Mosque and Cathedral Catholic Church). The Bogor botanical garden hosts more than 15,000 species of trees and plants and over 5,000 species of tropical orchids. The tour also visits Sukarna Gong House Factory, which still features traditional manufacturing techniques.
