KOMODO Island is the driest place among others Indonesia Archipelago, as the rainy seasons covers only in the month of January. Most of the year the whole island is swept by hot whilst  dry wind came from the dessert of Australia.
The temparute can reach to 110F and in August ( the coolest month) the mercury occasionally drops to lows in the 60F.
Komodo national Park incompasses of 603 square kilometre of land and 1.214 square kilometre of sea water, its contains three large island such as Komodo, Rinca,and Padar.
The National Park is established in 1980 and Komodo National Park has been declared as Man and Biosphere and World Heritage site in 1986.

KOMODO PLACES OF INTERST.
 Prehistoric Giant Lizzard Komodo is the last survivor from the Dinosaur age reaching up to 3 meters length and weight 150 kg, lay up to 30 eggs at a time and the predators are very strong swimmers as well as a divers to depths of 15 feet.
From Slawi Bay tourist can hike about a half an hour to Banu Unggulung viewing area where the bait will be slaughtered and from the shade safety of an elevated hut you`ll have an exellent opportunity to photograph a group of dragons devouring the bait.
If you are `` certified divers`` there are compressor and dive aquiptment available for hire at Loh Liang Park Rangger.
Komodo have two unique marine habitat, at the south of the island fed by deep sea current that bring cold water from Antartica through Indian Ocean which support an amazing and colourful profusion temperate of zone marine life including some mammal and the north of the island is tropical home for multitude of warm water fish covering 1000 species of fish and marine mammals including at least 15 defferent varieties of whales and dolphins.
