Batukaru temple is ancient temple located just on the foot of holy
Mount Batukaru where the area is composed of impressive
green hills and valleys with an amazing view of natural beauty.
Its really unbeliveable you will listen to the endless singing birds
through the tropical rain forest. This trek is starting with a visit
to Batukaru for wishing good luck, then by car to the village of
Senganan. From this village hike to enjoy the spectacular scenic
view of rice terraces and some Balinese villages. This is an easy
trek passing through undulating rice fields terraces with its various
kind of marvelous plantations. The hiking end at the village of
Jatiluwih. The trip continue to the village of Sandan Wanasari where
this village has been well known for many years for its various
hundreds butterflies species which now days becomes the conservatory
park. Lunch will be served enroute at local restaurant or lunch

of Bedugul Mountain Resort where the 2 – 3 hours trekking is begin.
Many species of plant and bird life are found only in this unspoilt
area of Bali which allows unrivalled views across the twin lake’s
edge are the famous floating pagoda Pura Ulundanu. Candikuning
– a colourful market selling vegetables, fresh tropical fruits,
plants and exotic wild orchids. Hikers will find that the countryside
surrounding and between Bali’s three volcanic peaks offers unlimited
walks. Lunch will be served enroute at local restaurant.

while take in a breathtaking over the fresh healthy air. The
hike will finished at village of Tenganan The home of a secretive
community of Bali Aga people where magical double ikat weaving
is still being made. Lunch will be served at the idyllic golden
sands of Candi Dasa.
REMARK:
The above trekking programmers are suitable for all ages with
reasonable good physical and condition, except the TAMBLINGAN
LAKE WALK which is more longer duration and classified as a
middle heavy. Hiking tours in Bali is better if we made during
hot season between April through November because it will be
less slippery. |

may participate in cultivating and planting paddy rice,thence take
a walk through the rice fields about 15minutes to see the
demonstration to climb the coconat tree which then the fresh coconut
water will served as refreshment. Boiling cassava demonstration
will be shown at the traditional and simple kitchen, thence a traditional
and typical Balinese food will be served for the guest. After Lunch
drive up to the village of Jatiluwih, the green

Climb Batur Active
Volcano & Fantastique Sunrise

Volcano Batur is one of the most sacred mountain
in Bali, also could be considered one believed and trip to summit
of volcano is a climb worth while with majestic views over Lake
Batur and on to Lombok highest mountain, start from hot spring
/ Jati Temple . Climb up through the jungle to the top of Mount
Batur,it takes approximately 5/6 hours up & down. It is still
active volcano, 1717 meters above sea level or 704 above lake
Batur on the huge old caldera. According to vulcanologist at Kintamani.
This volcano has erupted at least 19 times this century in 1804-1999,
the last erupted in 1994 until 1999 about from 7 of August with
much lave coming out mainly at night time over that priod again
in 7 of November 1999 but mainly black sand smoked, and also many
different colour of lava stone and black sand.The volcanic caldera
of Mt. Batur with it myriad of down –hillk tracks, surrounding
bush clad hills, shady ferny parths, and placid gardens, offer
vast areas of picturesque hikingterrain. Arrange guide at Mountain
View for an only morning climb to the top of the volcano to wach
the mists clear and the sunrise at down. On a fine day you can
see all the way to Mt. Rinjani on the nearby island of Lombok
.

04.00 Arrive at Kintamani and going down to the edge of Lake Batur
where the trek begins.
05.00 A stop will be made for a short break and drinking water.
06.00 Arrive at the peak of Mt. Batur.
06.15 Enjoy a beautiful sunrise with an opportunity of having
the view of three nearby mountains Mt.Abang , Mt. Agung and Mt.
Rinjani in Lombok in the first light of the day.
07.00 Descend the part leading toward the lake , with another
brief stop enroute.
09.00 Arrive back on the shore of lake Batur where a stop at one
hotel to take breakfast.
10.00 Drive back up to Hotel
